Published by Zerodisegno between 2002 and 2009, the Nobody’s Perfect series offers a rich catalog of functional objects: several styles of armchairs and chairs, a pouf, children’s chairs, three sizes of dining and coffee tables, two kinds of side tables, two sizes of bookshelves, a mirror cabinet, a striking buffet, and finally, an already-yet iconic bed.
Nobody’s Perfect series
In his series Nobody’s Perfect (2001), Gaetano Pesce reimagines the very notion of furniture use : structure no longer has to be rigid! It can be flexible and transparent, malleable; function is diverted.
This series both challenges and seduces the user, as the captivating colors play with light and perception.
Following the artist’s drawing, the artisan melts, colors, and pours the resin freely to create each piece of the series in a very unique way.
Chance is placed at the heart of creation and so is error, because it is human. In short: Nobody’s Perfect!
